Oba problema sam imao na vrlo jakoj makini, i oba su resena na ovaj nacin:

Ako izbaci D3DERR ili slicno:

Desno dugme na shortcut - properties - compatibility - stiklirati 640x480.
Startovati igru, namestiti rezoluciju u igri, izaci iz nje, i isti postupak sa shortcutom i samo odstiklirati 640x480.

Ako igra u toku animacija pukne i izbaci u Windows:

Uci u C:\Documents and Settings\[username]\Local Settings\Application Data\capcom\DevilMayCry4\
Editovati config.ini

U polju SLI=ON treba staviti SLI=OFF
Snimiti fajl.
